Wiz Khalifa Is MTV News’ Hottest Breakthrough MC Of 2010

Pittsburgh’s very own, Cameron Jabril Thomaz (b.k.a Wiz Khalifa) was awarded by MTV News as the Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2010. Although he has been in the game for over five years releasing many mixtapes ( Star Power, Flight School, Prince of the City 1 and 2, etc) and 2 Indie Albums (Show and Prove and Deal or No Deal), he is finally being recognized by the worlds most famous Music Network. Over 200,000 votes were cast and Wiz beat out the likes of other upcoming stars including J.Cole and Nicki Minaj. He has found ever increasing popularity after being featured in “XXL’s Freshman ’10″ Class, and the release of his mixtape ” Kush x Orange Juice “. Over his Twitter account, Wiz personally thanked his over 216,000 Followers for their support. The future is bright for Khalifa as he plans to continue his grassroot endeavors with the help of Taylor Gang and Rostrum Records when he releases another studio album hopefully by years end.
