Sports: Chris Rock Gets Ignored by Kobe and Scolded by Phil Jackson

The heat is on after the Lakers crushed the Celtics in Game 1 behind a determined Kobe Bryant to only face defeat in Game 2 after Ray Allen went “Shuttlesworth” on the Lakers dropping an NBA record 8 three pointers to tie the series 1-1. Despite all the great basketball we are seeing there are definitely some comical antics still going on. While promoting his newest movie “Grown Ups” Chris Rock decided to catch Game 1 along with his homies and just got played on national television. First, he gets totally ignored from Kobe, they guy is just too focused on getting his fifth title. Minutes later, Phil Jackson gave him the evil and said “You’re interrupting the game!” Poor Chris Rock, can’t the guy just get a couple of jokes in???

You gotta hand it to Diddy on the marketing with this one. Hilarious sketch as the two make a good tandem from the floating to the sketch in the blazer I was pretty damn entertained. I still think the funniest part though was how the girl said “Dee-Dee” (Diddy). Good shit and I gotta buy into it cause I love my Ciroc and Lemoande. “Smooth don’t sneeze“

Memorial Day = 3-Day Weekend and Your Classic Pool Scenes!!

I know what you’re thinking: “Damn I wish I was there right now, not busy with anything, just soaking in the sun and basking in all my glory.” Well, have no fear, for Memorial Day is here, which means a three-day weekend! There truly is nothing like a three-day weekend. That’s one of the rare things we can thank the government for, much like food stamps and tax exemptions. Three-day weekends are like winning the lottery but without the money – as in, you still have that same excitement. Now if the government gave us money while we had these weekends, that’d be the perfect analogy.

Of course, we cannot take away from the serious history behind Memorial Day, as it connotes the somber memorialization of those who have risked their lives to let us live the way we do. Let us not use this day only as a way to pause and thank those who have gone before us, those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and placed many before them. Especially to those who live in the DC area, the Arlington National Cemetery is a constant reminder of our blessings and a tribute to the many who have dedicated their humanity for the self-sufficiency of our nation.

Memorial Day also means the weekend when pools finally open. Well, to commemorate (you like the etymology, don’t you!) this day and the holiday, let’s look at the most classic pool scenes from our favorite movies.
