MV: Wynter Gordon – Dirty Talk | @wyntermusic
Wynter Gordon, an Atlantic Records recording artists first major music video with a chance of gaining national attention. With a sound with a mix of Kesha and Lady Gaga, her provocative words along side a pop instrumental and a catchy chorus, Wynter aims to make a mark in the already crowded pop market. Being one of a few African American women to currently record in this genre, the future is bright for Wynter as she has already had collaborations with well known acts such as David Guetta and Flo Rida (Sugar). Expect more from her soon.
MV: Tinashé – Saved + Zambezi and Performances
This is his story, “I was originally shipped over from Zimbabwe so I could eventually grow to become a doctor/lawyer and wire money back home via Western Union, that didn’t go so well… I blame/thank MJ. I’m currently more in love with my guitar than I have ever been. I make guitar music. I am not ashamed to say l love pop music. That’s what its all about for me. Good music fueled by the world around me” said Tinashé.
Reid and Simmons New Voices Tour
Record / Publishing Executive Antonio M. Reid, Jr., his brother Aaron Reid, Vanessa and Angela Simmons (co-founders of Pastry Shoes and reality stars of “Daddy’s Girls” and “Run’s House) along with a team of industry insiders, tastemakers and executives have launched “Reid & Simmons New Voices Tour 2010″. Our peeps over at Amadi covering the Washington DC semifinals of the tour to find out the best undiscovered talent. Imagine it as a DMV Idols featuring live bands, rappers and singers.
Taio Cruz – Dynamite (Stonebridge Remix Radio Edit)
Dance Hard! Well I think those two words alone are enough to describe this track. If this one doesn’t make you want to dance, I don’t know what will. This is much better then the original by Taio Cruz (in my opinion), and is very well done by Stonebridge Remix. Check this one out, especially if you’re a fan of dance music.

MV: Big Boi ft. Cutty – Shutterbug
Don’t be fooled by the opening screen of the new video for Big Boi‘s single, “Shutterbug.” The clip is there and it’s got a whole lot of awesome. Very rarely does a music video hold my attention for more than 30 seconds nowadays, but the combination of a severed head, rockstar puppets, solo cup towers, Tron-like dancers, and a mountain made of kicks, held my gaze the whole way through. Plus, the song is fire.
MV: Robyn – Hang With Me
Robyn’s year has been pretty busy… mostly working hard on her Body Talk trilogy. She released the first one back in June, which featured the very successful single, Dancing On My Own and she is set to release the second part of her project on September 6th and leading the charge to it is her new single, Hang With Me, which received the visual treatment by Max Vitali and was just released.
MV: The Roots ft. John Legend – The Fire
The Roots unleashed the video for their latest single, The Fire, featuring the one and only John Legend and directed by no one else than Rik Cordero which basically crafted a short film out of the video. The single is featured on their latest studio album, How I Got Over, which is out as we speak. Video got that HBO’s The Pacific feel.
Quadron – Slippin’ (Remix) + Music Video

Tru Thoughts and UK artist, Natural Self adds his signature sound on his remix for the fan favorite “Slippin” off of Quadron’s self-titled album. You slippin’ if you don’t! Continue to see the original, with their new music video. It got that 80s feel; maybe that’s the new trend to go everything retro?
The song has a dreamy quality to it and Coco also brings that playful energy to the video. A dance routine in a field of flowers! It’s fun. Check it out.
MV: Bun B – Let Em Know
Even in the days of new hip-hop we can still be taken back to some old school vibes. DJ Premier let’s a cannibal of a beat loose on Bun B’s newest album Trill OG. The album features tight production across the board but it’s the way Bun B has stayed relevant and new that will keep him in the game forever. Both him and Premier are Texas natives and come together to shoot this in-studio type video with cameos from Curren$y and Wale.
MV: Tegan and Sara – On Directing
Here’s the newest visuals for latest single, On Directing, of the Canadians twin sisters known as Tegan and Sara from their most recent album, Sainthood. The video is pretty straightforward featuring alot of shiny colours and lights with one half of the sister (Sara) singing straight to the camera while the other half (Tegan) appears somewhere in there in the background while she supports her sister on the vocals. Interesting.

Album Review: Phil Adé – The Letterman | @PhilAde301 @368MG
“I'm an everyday person, rapping about everyday things for every day of people's lives…” says DMV rising star Phil Adé. With his Nigerian and Grenadian roots, plus living in California, Alabama and Florida it's safe to assume that Adé has garnered unmatched experience about various sects of people, a blessing that can implicity supply a different kind of vigor ... continue
LAUGHING MATTERS
iPhone 4 Antenna Comedy
Whether you are an iPhone drone (like myself) or one of the Apple device's haters, one can't deny how large its impact and influence on the phone industry and technology as a whole. What I also love is the awesome creative media its generated. My iPhone 4 is working just fine, but these guys cleverly poke fun at the recent iPhone 4 antenna "woes" of the (what seems to be) masses. continue

Interview: Drake & 40 (via Nardwuar)
Your favorite interviewer's interviewer (by the way, what if Nardwuar interviewed It's Bongo Boy or vice versa?!) links up with the Young Money hook-maker artist to discuss all things strange and, well, strange. Oh yeah, Nardwuar doesn't fail to proceed with his encyclopedic knowledge that makes Supreme Court justices look like kindergartners. Anyway, which is your favorite Nardwuar interview? Mine has to be the Jay one, only because Hov wasn't impressed at all 100% and look as confused as George Bush with a 2nd-grade-level book. Okay, back to the interview: we learn about Drake's addiction to bras (he apparently carries ... continue
